Tailored Image is Carbon Neutral

Tailored Image is Carbon Neutral

It gives us great pleasure to announce that as of January 2023, Tailored Image is officially Carbon Neutral. We are proud to have worked alongside Carbon Neutral Britain to measure and offset our carbon footprint, therefore becoming Certified as a Carbon Neutral Business.

Speaking of this important development, Brendan Birt, Operations Director at Tailored Image and Head of its Sustainability Task Force, commented:

‘Sustainability is a key consideration to our business across every element of its operation and to have achieved Carbon Neutral status is a huge milestone in our journey. Despite all our efforts to reduce our carbon consumption, the carbon footprint of a business of this size is still substantial, so it is of great importance to us to have offset these emissions and achieved this status. It is not the end goal; we will continue to adapt our operations to reduce our carbon footprint at every opportunity in the collective race to Zero Carbon.’

The Carbon Neutral status Tailored Image has achieved has been made possible by investment in significant renewable energy schemes across the globe, which each have made substantial difference to these individual communities as well as the greater global environment. These include the Burgos Wind Farm project, Philippines, the Andes Mountains Hydro Power project in Chile, the Rice Husk Power Project in Cambodia and the Hyaneng Changyi Wind Farm Project, China. As well as preventing fossil fuel burn for energy and the resulting reduction in emissions, these projects have provided education and employment for these communities, social development and have also contributed to the protection of local flora and fauna.
