Tailored Image at Bewleys, Dublin's famous landmark cafe

(Hospitality)

Bewley's cafe on Grafton Street had been a well-loved destination with locals and visitors alike for over eighty-five years until its doors closed in 2014. The elaborate architecture and stained glass windows making it a totally unique and memorable city centre venue.

Now, owners Paddy and Veronica Campbell have reopened the cafe following a twelve million Euro refurbishment which has retained the building's iconic frontage and many of its interior features.

Tailored Image worked with Dublin fashion designer Therese McKeone to produce new uniforms for the entire team, ranging from the waiting staff to baristas and managers who will provide the impeccable service to customers. While the brief was to retain a traditional feel for the uniforms in line with the historic surroundings, the new uniforms also accommodate very modern needs such as a pocket to carry the tablets used by staff to record the customer's orders. The range of uniform design includes more modern interpretations including the distinctively striped tops and long aprons now worn by the baristas.

Bewley's is just the latest in a range of high profile Dublin hospitality establishments who have turned to Tailored Image for an efficient and reliable uniform service which meets the unique needs of their business.

Customers will enjoy a wide selection of fare including traditional favourites plus a range of French patisserie, all baked in Bewley's kitchens on the ground floor of the newly opened cafe. Definitely worth a visit on your next trip to Dublin.
